Stepping in Front

of the Lens

As an introvert, I’ve always felt more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. For a long time, I avoided being photographed, instinctively shying away from the spotlight. But I reached a turning point when I asked myself: How can I truly photograph others if I'm afraid to face the lens myself?

This question led me to create a series of self-portraits—an intentional step outside my comfort zone. What began as a personal challenge quickly evolved into a journey of creative and personal growth, helping me connect more deeply with both sides of the camera.
